1. Applicability of Conditions
1.1 Acceptance of these terms is when the Buyer's places a order and then makes payment, either online, via the telephone, or in the Crosby based showroom, and the Seller's acceptance thereof.
1.2 Orders placed by phone an email is sent for confirmation. Customer with no email have no claim for wrong sizes being input, so we suggest ordering online, or obtaining a email account for your receipt.
2. Cancellation or Amendment of Order by the Buyer
2.1 You may only cancel your order only if fabric has not been ordered or production has not started, normally within 2-3 hours of order, and you will receive a refund.
2.2 On cancelled orders a charge equal to £20.00 or 5% of the total order (what ever is higher) will be charged to cover credit/debit card charges and administration.
2.3 If an order has multiple blinds from different ranges/suppliers the total order cannot be refused, cancelled or returned, if only part of the order is incorrect, delayed or even unavailable.
3. Fitness for Purpose
3.1 While great care is taken in making your blinds to the size requested all Blinds are produced with a operating/manufactures tolerance of +/-5mm. This is industry standard.
4. Delivery
4.1 Your goods will be delivered direct to you by a carrier service. All deliveries are fully insured and a signature will be required on delivery. If we try to deliver you new blinds while you are out a card will be left, you can contact the carrier on this card to arrange a new convenient free re-delivery time or call and collect the blinds yourself.
4.2 Any dates, times or periods for delivery of Goods quoted by us are estimates only and we shall not be liable for failure to meet such estimates The Buyer will not be entitled to refuse to accept the Goods or to cancel the contract with the Seller merely due to delay. None acceptance of delivery is not reason for a refund or cancellation of order.
4.3 After 2 failed delivery attempts or If the customer refuses or is unable to take delivery for any reason a re-delivery change of £19.95 will apply in advance of each further dispatch.
5. Claims.
5.1 The Seller shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Buyer for any indirect or consequential loss however so arising. It is strongly recommended that your check you have all fixings and parts needed before arranging any installation.
6. Product information & Image Documentation/Display
6.1 Whilst the Seller takes every precaution in the preparation of its website, collection books, technical information, price lists and other selling aids, these documents are for the Buyer' general guidance only and the particulars contained there in shall not constitute representations by the Seller and the Seller shall not be bound thereby. The seller reserves the right to change specifications at any time.
6.2 Any colours and textures described verbally are general guides only to the likeness, and their particulars shall not constitute true representations by the Seller and the Seller shall not be bound there by. Samples are available and recommended.
6.3 Images shown are a guide and preciseness of colour cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the screen settings of your computer.
6.4 Wood samples and stock timbers change from batch to batch. Wood Blinds are a natural product and varies in its grain and colour this is not a fault but a characteristic and beauty of wood. There may also be warping in some slats; At no time is this grounds for return.
6.5 Purchased and free of charge samples sent are a guide only, as the final batch used to make your order may be from a different batch to the sample.
6.6 All sizes quoted are width x drop, this is industry standard.
6.7 Roller Blinds over a certain size may have a join. Contact us if you want this confirming for your order. Blinds supplied with a join are not faulty and are made to specification.
7. Return of Goods
7.1 In general with common law 'bespoke' goods can not be returned. Every blind is custom made (bespoke) to your precise requirements, once made, are suitable only to you, and therefore cannot be resold. We strongly recommend that you double check all measurements.
7.2 The return of Goods will not be accepted without prior notification to the Seller. The Seller will then authorise the return by issuing a returns reference number. The goods once returned will be inspected to verify the return reason, and once confirmed, a replacement/repair will be sent.
7.3 Goods to be returned must be suitably packaged to prevent loss or damage in transit, so we strongly suggest that you keep all packaging. The Seller is not responsible for providing 'replacement' packaging.
7.4 If goods are found to be not faulty or correct and to specification, they will be returned, a £19.95 charge will be made to the original payment card to cover the collection and re-delivery costs
7.5 All damaged or incorrectly supplied goods must be returned to us (at our cost) for fault/damage verification before we can action either a repair or a replacement.
7.6 In the event of the seller sending a replacement for damaged or defective goods, the original goods must be returned within 7 days. The seller reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement to the payment card used for the original order if the goods are not returned within 7 days.
7.7 If any returned Blinds are found not to be damaged or faulty and are as ordered, to specification, the correct sizes etc a re-delivery & collection charge of £19.95 will be charged before the goods are returned.
7.8 Goods received damaged must be reported to us within 5-7 days. This is industry standard and to provent claims of accidental damage by the buyer. This does not affect the your standard warranty which is valid from 1- 5 years
7.9 Suitability of the blind for window/door etc can only be decided by the buyer, the buyer must check before ordering. Bespoke items can not be returned as unsuitable
8. Cancellation By Us
We reserve the right to cancel Your order if:
8.1 We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
8.2 You require delivery outside the Mainland UK
8.3 One or more of the Goods You ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information made by us and/or received by us from our suppliers.
8.4 If we do cancel your order, we will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
8.5 If a price error has been made and the selling price offered is below TRADE price
8.6 Your blind exceeds the maximum or minimum width and drop combination, or a option is not available on the selected fabric/slat this sometimes only becomes apparent at time of production not order.
8.7 If you have ordered incorrect, i.e using mm's for cm's etc, the cancellation charge will apply to cover the credit card charges and administration.
9. Price Beater
9.1 Price beater guarantee is for NEW orders only and does not cover:
9.2 Orders already placed
9.3 Competitors offering a promotional discount, or displaying a price error.
9.4 Blinds being sold below the manufactures trade (not retail) price.
9.5 Price beater will only be offered against the same supplier 1 time.
9.6 Blinds must be an exact like for like including manufactures hardware.
9.7 Excludes Velux, Somfy and own fabric blinds.
10.1 Child Safety
It is imperative that you consider window blind safety. Each and every blind supplied is with a safety part. The buyer agrees to use this part and insure the blind is child safe.
